Lyra II from Evie’s Closet

Hi everyone!

I’ve just released my newest dress. It’s a gorgeous, flowy, tone-on-tone gowned version of the original Lyra outfits. Not too floofy in the skirt. Just simple and pretty.

I call it.. ” Lyra II “.

50L Gown @ Evie’s Closet (Last one!)

I want to wish everyone a very happy and -safe- start to 2010.

To kick things off with a bang, here’s the last 50L Gown on offer at Evie’s Closet for the holiday season.

Melusine was one of my favorite projects of 2009, so here it is, revised in a Seafoam Blue, for your pleasure.

There’s also a sneak peak of the first release in 2010 in store now.

On a personal note.. I’m sure you’re probably not aware what a difference your ongoing support of Evie’s Closet makes to my life. My -real- life. It’s been 2 years now, since I began creating, and a whole new world has opened up for me during that time.

So much would not be possible without you.

50L Isabella @ Evie’s Closet

The sorting and tidying continues in my inventory, and so here is Isabella, in Blue & Silver.

Like the original Blue & Gold, Isabella in Blue & Silver comes in either a short, ballet skirt version, or a longer formal gown. They have a L$550 value.

Both of these options are fully finished, release-ready outfits and have the wings included.

I’m about to begin travelling for the Holidays, so these will be available at the Main Evie’s Closet Store for only 50L each, until I arrive at my destination, roughly 24 hours from now.

Just as a quick post-script: If there’s anyone you know, who has never tried an Evie’s Closet Gown, now is the perfect time to point them in the right direction.

As the end of the year rapidly approaches, I’ve begun to go through the body of work I’ve produced in 2009, clearing out old folders and bad designs which never saw the light of day.

I’ve also uncovered some Gowns which I completed, but never released.

Most of them are recolors which I discarded on the basis of already having selected “enough” or perhaps it was just a random attempt at something different which I decided not to pursue.

One of these, is Ophelia in Blue.

It’s quite a pretty Gown, and since this is release-ready, I’ve decided it would be a waste not to put it up in the store -somewhere-.

7 Swans-A-Swimming…

Okay, yes, I know I’m super-late posting this, since it’s the 11th… But hey. Be happy I managed to remember at all!

Anyway.. On the seventh day of Christmas, as per the song.. some lucky chump got a bunch of other stuff, aaaaaand Seven Swans-A-Swimming. What he subsequently did with them, I don’t know. Probably re-gifted them as various “Secret Santa” presents around his office network.

Anyway… 12 unique designers have come together this year for a special 12 Days Of Christmas event, where each day, from the 1st of December, an item will be released that was inspired by the designer’s chosen day.

I’m one of the 12, and I got Swans.

So you get.. Cygnet.

In your choice of White or Black, you get both the sparkly dress and the feathered showgirl skirt to play with. It’s got ruffled sleeve trim and a beautiful feathered swan-inspired circlet. Quack! (Or is it Honk?)

It’s only L$250, and will be available until December 26th.

Evie’s Closet – Winter Pearl Gown

For something white, wintery and simply stunning, you can’t go past the Saiyge Gown in Winter Pearl.

Holiday Glamor from Evie’s Closet

Here we go, a new Gown from Evie’s Closet, perfect for the approaching season’s endless round of parties and events.

The collared jacket is offered on seperate layers for versatility, allowing the wearer to choose between a regal look, and a sweet, sleeveless option once the Winter snow has finally melted into Spring.

The dress was just crying out for a gorgeous necklace to sit against the beautifully framed bust, so Elizabeth Tinsley of Frippery created the perfect set of jewels to meet the need.
(After all, the Gown IS named after her.)

The intricate set is called “The Faerie Queene” a reference to the Edmund Spenser poem written for Queen Elizabeth I.

Comprised of earrings, a bracelet and a necklace, it includes an optional Elizabeth Collar joined onto the necklace to save an attachment point when you wear them together. (Isn’t she clever?)
