Inspired by the Faeries, the Isabella offers -two- different looks in the one collection.

The first, is a long, formal skirt, made up of a swirling mix of rich textures, and paired with a corset, which is set with sculpted prim leaves across the bust. You also receive two decorative armbands, set with a matching flower accent, to offset the dress.

Isabella Green Large

All of the prim pieces are modifiable, so if your avatar is a little more lush around the chest area, the prims can easily be expanded to fit.

Isabella Purple Large

The formal interpretation of the Isabella dress also comes with the hair shown, caught up in a gorgeous matching scarf. The hair comes in 4 colors, all included. Black, Brunette, Red and Blonde.

Isabella Red Large

The second Isabella design includes a Ballet Skirt, a pair of flexi wings, shimmering stockings and slippers to match. The Hair is not included in this set.

Isabella (b) Blue Large

There are five colors to choose from.. Green, Purple, Red, Blue and White.

If you simply cannot decide, you can choose to buy both at a discount.

While you’re there, check out the all-too-perfect “Enchanted” jewelry set by Shine. It’s enameled, and color change, and comes with necklaces, and bracelets, and rings… and it’s just gorgeous with the Isabella dresses. There’s a vendor right by the Isabella display!

Evie’s Closet SL Group Closed

•May 7, 2009 • 5 Comments

As somebody kindly pointed out to me the other day, it’s been 8 weeks since I launched the new Hippogroup for Evie’s Closet.

During that time, I’ve sent about 407,082 separate messages to the old SL Group, advising them of the changes, and hoping my mindless spam would prompt them to make the switch. Unfortunately, it seems many individuals did not receive (or did not note) these messages, and I suppose that’s simply a blindingly clear argument *for* the adoption of a new system.

Today, it was time to bite the bullet and close it down. So I sent one final notice, and am now in the process of gently removing those individuals who did not voluntarily leave the Second Life Group “Evie’s Closet”.

I do apologise for the brilliantly impersonal notification the Lindens have blessed us with, which pops up in your IMs… “You have been ejected from the group “Evie’s Closet” by Evangeline Miles.” It can’t be helped, I’m afraid. :(

Evie's Closet SL Group Closed

As for the brand spanking *NEW* Group……

HippoGroup Join Terminals are available for your clicking pleasure at the Main Store, and *most* of the other Evie’s Closet locations around SL. Click once to join, and receive a present for your trouble. :) All notices are sent here, and you can even revisit the signs to browse through past messages, if you suspect Second Life has eaten some.

So I’m posting this blog, in the hope that if you, or someone you know, received an ejection message from me in the last 24 hours, it explains why, and softens the blow just a little.

Thank you to each and every person who continues to choose to support Evie’s Closet.

New to Evie’s Closet ~ The Ophelia Gown

•April 19, 2009 • 1 Comment

Romantic, spring inspired, and sumptuous.. .. The Ophelia Gown is the newest release from Evie’s Closet.

The bodice gives the appearance of a rich, matte satin, while the bust has a velvety texture, embroidered with delicate vines and flowers. This design is also echoed in the chiffon skirt overlay.

Thanks to the painstaking effort which went into the prim construction, the dress flows like a dream and looks absolutely gorgeous when you’re dancing.

Ophelia by Evie's Closet

The Ophelia Gown comes in 6 sweet color choices: Chantilly Cream, Licorice, Lilac, Periwinkle, Cotton Candy and Lemon Chiffon.

Garlands and Wreaths at Evie’s Closet

•March 19, 2009 • 6 Comments

You may have seen these in store already – The Innocence Flower Garlands.

The garlands have detailed filigree work in your choice of gold or silver metal, scattered liberally with sculpted leaves and flowers. AND they come with a Color Picker HUD. Beauty and functionality combined.

The HUD is incredibly intuitive to use, and permits you to match virtually any item in your wardrobe. You can select your color, favorite shade and desired level of saturation for both the flowers and the foliage.

Get yours at the Main Store now.

The Wreath of Flowers is another new item available at Evie’s closet. A lovely sculpted prim wreath with green leaves and colored flowers. It also includes the Color Picker HUD. Originally released in single colors with the Saigye Gowns, now you can wear the one wreath, and match everything.

The pic below shows a screenshot of the hud…all you have to do is point and click, simple!

We previously blogged about the RFL Aventine Gown and there’s a little more to tell you about the RFL Clothing Fair.

The Flower Hair Pin pictured below was donated to the Clothing Fair, and is one of the prizes included in the RFL Treasure Hunt. Drop by to hunt down your Free copy! It includes the HUD and both flowers and leaves can be tinted to match your outfit.

Also at the RFL Stall, is the Flower Bangle pictured below. It was created by Faery Sola from Studio Sidhe and matches the RFL Aventine Gown. It’s available at Evie’s Closet on Sim #2 “The Caspian Sea” of the RFL Clothing Fair.

100% of the proceeds of the Flower Bangle will be donated to the Relay For Life automatically, via the special vendors, with proceeds being passed to the American Cancer Society.

If you haven’t dropped by yet to pick up a copy of the RFL Aventine or the matching Studio Sidhe Flower Bangle, the Fair is open all week.

Visit the other Merchants while you’re there and support an amazing charity!

Tiny Aventine

•February 25, 2009 • 4 Comments

Many of the Gowns I’ve created, have gone on to be modified and resized to become suitable for smaller Avatars, and those who like to role play as Children in Second Life. And if only it were as easy as simply making everything smaller, perhaps I’d have them all done by now!

Unfortunately, as you reduce the size of the avatar, prims have to be re-angled, added, possibly even removed. Settings have to be changed, and lots of fussing done, to ensure the original look of the gown is interpreted correctly on the dramatically different avatar shape. (The same applies for really large avatars, too.)

In this instance, on top of everything else, I’ve adjusted the bodice to make it a little more age-appropriate, and the Gowns are now ready and waiting, in 6 vibrant colors at the Main Store now. (Four colors shown here)

Red

Purple

blue

Green small

As with the Grown Up versions, which you can view by clicking here, the Tiny Aventines come with both dresses – The Ballgown and the little Fairy Flower Prims. There are also two pairs of sleeves, which are interchangeable between the outfits.

If you know, have, or happen to be a little Fairy Princess, check them out at Evie’s Closet now!
